Pastor Renel Sanon has been the Senior Pastor of the Evangelical Baptist Church of Windsor since 2007. With a heartfelt passion for sharing the gospel, Pastor Sanon has devoted his life to helping individuals grow spiritually, fostering a strong sense of community, and guiding others in living out their faith in their daily lives. His ministry is built on the foundation of love, faith, and service to God, and he strives to reflect these values in everything he does.

Originally from Haiti, Pastor Sanon migrated to the United States in the early 2000s, where he began his ministry journey. In 2007, he relocated to Windsor, where he became one of the first-generation Haitian migrants in the area. Pastor Sanon quickly became a central figure in the local Haitian Christian community, playing a pivotal role in leading the Evangelical Baptist Church and supporting the spiritual needs of many in Windsor and the surrounding region. His influence extends beyond his church as he works to provide counsel, guidance, and encouragement to the broader Haitian community.

Pastor Sanon is supported by his wife, Marie Ludnyr Pierre Sanon, and their three children: Ashley, Bidhialy, and Yohanantobh Sanon. Together, they form a strong family foundation rooted in faith, and Pastor Sanon profoundly values the time spent with his loved ones. Outside of his pastoral duties, he enjoys being involved in community activities and continuing his own personal and spiritual growth through education.

Pastor Sanon earned his degree in theology from Liberty University in Virginia, further deepening his knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. In 2024, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree at Bircham International University in Madrid, Spain, further solidifying his commitment to lifelong learning and spiritual development. This academic achievement allows him to serve his congregation with a deeper understanding of both theology and philosophy.
